Richard Prytula is President of a Family Office which includes investments, venture capital, philantropic foundations & charities. Richard is founder and Chairman of Gestion TechnoCap Inc., TurnCap Inc., OhOne Inc., Prytula Charpentier Foundation for education, Mécénat Musica Foundation and Concerts noncerto, and Chairman of Ensemble Masques, Autour de la flûte and Ensemble vocal Arts-Québec.Gestion TechnoCap Inc. and its associated companies have provided more than $100 million in funding to start-up technology companies. In addition, Gestion TechnoCap Inc. has raised $100s of millions more for those start-ups from co-investors. Examples as lead investor include Kinaxis Inc (initial market cap $2 million, 2017 market cap ~$2 billion) and FreeBalance Inc., which provides public financial systems to 23 countries managing a quarter of a trillion ($US) annual budgets worldwide.Mécénat Musica is an in perpetuity funding program for cultural organizations administered by the Fondation du Grand Montréal. Mécénat Musica has created 136 donations of $25,000 each from Individuals, plus 12 donations of $250,000 each from Families, for 19 Québec cultural organizations, creating capital of ~$20,200,000 (when all government matching arrives).Richard is also Executive Producer of classical music channel noncerto, new Canadian Compositions, Canadian Classical Music Video Awards and the Prix Goyer, Canada’s largest award for collaborative emerging artist ($125,000).Richard holds a B.Sc. (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Saskatchewan and an M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and is an avid backcountry snowboarder, kite boarder and Masters swimmer.
